One owner resided in this home before we purchased it. Built in 1968, it held many of the popular décor from that era. We decided it needed a fresh look and dove in! Our vision was to create an open concept, and we did!
In order to remove the wall separating the living room from the kitchen, we braced the roof with two additional temporary walls. This allowed us to insert a beam which would span the length of the opening and support the roof too.
